Imperial Red

Imperial War Museum and Lowry Center

When it decides to perform, North Western light is spectacular and its goosebump time when you get one like this, especially over two of the North’s landmark buildings.  The metal cladding of the Imperial War museum and the Lowry perfectly reflect the red sunset sky and the general smoulder of twilight. This was taken minutes before both ‘Chimney Pop’ (see link in categories) and ‘Sun in Basket’… you wait ages for a sunset picture, and then three come along at once.
